If it's Tomorrow, It Must Be Señor Frog's

Monday:

We took to the beach early to spend an hour or two topping off Sunday's toasting, and then went shopping. And as for lunch, it was tomorrow, and if it was tomorrow it had to be Señor Frog's.

Señor Frog's is a great place to eat. On the menu their specialties are marked with four sombreros. We both ordered four sombrero items: Judi had the Fresh Green Tomatillo Enchiladas (cheese, not chicken), and I had the Conchinita Pibil Plate of Tacos. Judi's enchilada's (supposedly Auntie Esther's homemade recipe, whoever Auntie Esther is) were amazingly complex -- if you order them, chew and chew and chew. Each bite will reveal another combination of flavors, until you chew to the magical point when the cheese flavor explodes and fills your mouth.

My tacos were filled/coated with meat that was tender and rich with flavors, topped with onions that were just as rich as the meats.

This was complicated food. It begged to be appreciated the way a Charles Ives symphony begs to be appreciated.
