Judi doesn't get to wear her cute winter clothes very often in Florida, so this was a chance to show off her outfits. This is what she wore, day by day. You'll notice that some of the outfits repeat; it wasn't that she didn't have different outfits, but that the choice was often restricted by the day's weather. Wearing outfits is making a visual statement, and so I am very embarressed to say I have no picutres to go on this page. It didn't occur to me to take pictures of Judi in her outfits. How stupid is that? Saturday On our travel day, Judi wore a camel-and-blue plaid miniskirt, beige turtleneck sweater, brown leather boots, and brown leather jacket. I would like to mention that after we left Florida, we didn't once see anyone else in a miniskirt -- heck, maybe not in any kind of skirt. Judi got lots of stares from the guys, though. Winter produces stare-starvation among men. I know. Been there, done that, moved to Florida. Sunday Judi woke black low-rider jeans, a green-and-beige striped turtleneck sweater (designed for a turtle with a very long neck), a short camel-colored leather jacket, and short camel-colored leather boots. She looked very cute. Monday Judi wore blue jeans and a blue-and-tan turtleneck sweater, the short camel-colored leather jacket, and the camel-colored leather boots. Tuesday Judi wore same as Monday, because we had a long day in the car, and it was a comfortable outfit for traveling. Wednesday Judi wore her super-wide-leg jeans with the frayed hems, and a multi-color striped mock turtleneck, with a black leather jacket, and white sneakers (for traction on ice, since we were planning to walk). Her new snowflake earrings (purchased at the Mill Falls Marketplace in Meredith) were a cute adornment. Thursday Judi rewore the outfit from Sunday. Friday and Saturday Judi wore a green plaid miniskirt, a forest green ribbed turtleneck sweater, and the brown leather jacket and tall brown boots. Friday was the day we did Concord and the Capitol building, and Saturday we ate at the Paugus Diner and then drove to Manchester to fly home. She got lots of looks. Judi brought a black leather jacket and boots, but never had a chance to wear them. She also brought long skirts that she didn't wear -- the weather was always too cold, requiring jeans, or warm enough for short skirts and tall boots. |
