So we arrived. Man, the place was huge! It was more square foots than my house! The two bedrooms were practically in different zip codes. The master bedroom could have been a barracks for a platoon.

And it was gorgeous. It even had a real, wood-burning fireplace, and a couple of those artificial fire logs to burn. (You'll read a lot more about that in a minute, if you click to the next page <g>.) If you want, click on the thumbnails down the left side of this page to see some pictures.

Being Floridians, our first order of business was to crank up the heat, which worked very well. And I learned something I had forgotten about New Hampshire in the winter:

When the faucet says "Cold," it's not kidding.
