People took Frances more seriously than other hurricanes I've been through. Almost everyone boarded up. The guy in slide 1 had gumption. Or he listens to too much pop radio. The "best shot" of a category 4 hurricane, which Frances was at the time, is fearsome indeed. For the record, the twin hurricanes did some damage to his roof and demolished his security fence.

Slide 4 is Judi's house boarded up, and slide 5 is mine. The reason my palm tree fronds are pegged over to the left isn't because I have mutant palm trees. It's because I forgot to take the picture of my house until after Frances begun to arrive.
